a new template

i had been planning this for a long time. i finally changed the template of my journey.

i find this one very simple, clean and pure. something without any judgements and demands. like a free bird in the sky.

so for me this template will be my "SKY".

have you watched a puddle that has been created by your footsteps on a beach? watch it fill with water. it lets the water fill in, absorbs it and then the void is gone. the sand comes to its original condition. simple, right? think again!!!

Letting go...

Now a days, with the thought of what others would think of my thoughts I have limited expressing, literally. I feel like a lost elephant in a new jungle. This comes to me as a shock, that even this blog seems like a page borrowed page from someone which I might have to return back. The drawn pictures, the wet leaves cease to exist. As a dear friend had mentioned "I hate short-talks".

I am feeling a bit nostalgic of the times in Mumbai. I am missing the stupid times I have had enjoyed at IIT Powai's Lake House. It was not only a spot where we went recluse but also enjoyed being silent for a change. The crazy dancing, singing and future plans were all witnessed by those moments. Rohit's adventure with his new camera, bike rides, swaying platform on the lake and Pizza party are so fresh in memory. Most visited address searched in the google of my brain.

I am still confused with how people act situational, me included!! Is the algorithm scribbled in the same way for everyone? Yesterday this fact led me into a long discussion with a couple of friends. This discussion brought me to the same conclusion "don't expect anything from anyone and you are better off". GoSo are you listening?

Life has slowly become like an artifact which is absorbed with the colors of past. When the colors were wet and the canvass blank, it was glorious. I want a new page on this canvass so that I can start a new adventure. May be it also signifies that I get lost with the small things in life. Get too people centric. Too mechanical.

PS: As I mention the drawn pictures, I remember the college bag of Ninzee. A mechanical form of Lord Ganesh was drawn on it. Wonder what rules the mind of that artist?

Maut tu ek kavita hain

Maut tu ek kavitaa hai
mujhse ek kavita ka vada hai milegi mujhko
doobti nabzon mein jab dard ko neend aane lage

This poem is an epitome. An epitome of love and it has used the paintbrush of pain to fill the canvass. Something so simple, free of illusion, filled with compassion yet detached. Like green leaves in winter. Simple yet beautiful.

landing under the sky

its such a good relief to be with peace for a night. i am sure that if you are in your bed you would love to think of some cheerful moments. its like coming back home and finding your dog jumping on you and asking you if you missed me?

lying under the stars on sand and holding hands and talking nothing but listening to your heart beats. enjoying the breeze that makes the hair fall, which you love to set to make sure that the moon is visible. feeling the cold through the warmth of being with someone that you care about.

counting the stars, talking about the non-sensible things of life which you are embarrassed about and missing those moments when life was pushed in the blood. i am sure that when life unfolds tomorrow, i will remember the past. sometimes we just forget to live it all and then it never comes back...

smell the flowers, listen to lyrics, enjoy the music and let life take over...for that's what you are living for and once its foregone its gone, forever. smile today coz now you feel like.

Is the race the answer?

This is in perspective of what happened to Satyam Computer Services in India. As the drama is unfolding it is sure that many people are at fault. Why? Is greed the sole reason? Or race to be leaders led to a situation like this?

Is this a common path by choice for all big firms? That does not mean all the big firms are part of it or all the CEOs are filling the pockets. But it surely reflects that people go blind when they want to reflect positive about themselves. They forget who they actually are and want to project an image which is beyond common. Surely favorism exists, but how can companies overcome the shadow of competitors when all they have is the same to offer?

As we know many runners have come back strongly and have been found guilty of using drugs. Though its biased to generalize here but is this a proof that a certain level of heat is necessary to keep the food warm? Moreover what would the impact be if firms all over the world follow this path? What if the auditors who are appointed to work for shareholders are happy blanketting the sin? Should there be any set of authority who govern the auditors? Who is to be blamed for this mess will be clear with time, but as people electing the government are held responsible in this case will the employees suffer the same blame?

have you tasted blood?

is the question that people who have tasted it ask. and mostly the answer is no. in my case it is YES.

in this case blood is a metaphor though for weirdness. once you have tasted weird things in life, you wish everyday has some essence (ark in urdu/ hindi would be proper) of it. its like once you start enjoying the swaying of a boat life seems pointless without it. the raw smell of salt and water around with the melody of waves makes life much more enjoyable.

i am not referring to a person here. its just the case that some movie, song or something weird that is first experience is always missed. a new trick in the cards of life makes life exciting, may be am missing a great book which has the great tricks hidden. 'Messiah's handbook' by richard bach can be seen as something like that.

'waqt mano tehar sa gaya ho, ek mod hain jo paar nahi hota. ek raat hain jo basar nahi hoti aur ek pal hain jo yaadon mein jam gaya hain'.

An arbit song that I liked

Sunday Morning Comin Down by Gretchen Wilson.

Simple days

Life has become so simple in this land which is called Motherland of technology. With holidays coming to an end, winter is embracing the roads, trees and my time. Though, I was scared like a little child and curious like a kitten standing on the table top, its not as harsh. At least it seems like that at this point of time.

The suburb where I stay, Brighton, is a calm locality where after 6 pm I don't hear anything. I forgot to mention that before 6 pm also I don't hear much. The days feel like a simple country side where people live their slow but secluded lives. When I leave for work, which I am doing to kill time and hear Ka-ching, I can see hardly a few people in my street. However, on the way to college I am greeted by all the different cars with people driven in them.

A few shops that harbor outside campus are the busiest scene I see at everyday unless I walk in the opposite direction for a quarter of an hour. The college has a white carpet spread all across it. However, there are big machines which keep the snow off the street and pavements. The trees have brushed away their weight of snow.

PS: This is written through a peephole view of a simple kid who loves to walk in the snow, so please take it with a hint of lime. :)

Happy New Year All.

F1 gets more dynamic

F1 has brought the sports to a more realistic level with the changes this season. The major being KERS system which allows the driver to use the Kinetic energy, which is otherwise lost during braking. This can be used by the push of a button by the driver over certain laps. This is an option that might confuse not only the spectators but also the teams. For example Ferrari is confused about the impact on dynamics and how to get the system into play.
